God Didn’t Call Us to be Passive
Many believers join the never-ending Once Saved, Always Saved debate. But I am not here to participate in that, but only to share the Good News — and only that is my goal.
Our salvation in Christ comes in Justification (when we became born again), Sanctification (God’s continuing work in us), and Glorification (when we are given glorified bodies when Jesus comes.) The good news is that all of these had been paid for at the cross. Jesus died for our sins — past, present, and future — once and for all. Hebrews 10:12–14 says:

When we, by faith, accepted Jesus into our lives, we got saved. It was instantaneous; We’ve been justified; we became born again. We’re accepted into the Kingdom as children of God. But like trees, nobody grows overnight. That is why God is sanctifying us. It is a process of growing in the Word (John 17:17) and prayer (1 Timothy 4:5), becoming Christlike (Romans 8:29), experiencing deliverance (1 Thessalonians 5:23), taking down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4), etc. Our progress can be three steps forward…
