Have You Lost Your Keys?
Let me tell you a story.
There was once a lady named Khazaqah who lived in a small house in a small village where burglars were free to roam around even at daylight.
Khazaqah had lost many of her valuable pieces of furniture to the burglars, but it seemed that she didn’t value her possessions. She wouldn’t even clean up her house; dust and cobwebs were everywhere. But tidy or not, the burglars would come in and steal whatever they wanted, anytime. They would come in using the keys that she would leave on the shoe rack outside her door.
At a certain point, she eventually became concerned. What if they would hurt me next time? she pondered.
She grabbed the keys and realized something that would ultimately change her life.
Khazaqah is like many of us Christians. She was born to be a strong woman, with power within her that she was ignorant about.
Or she may be like one who is too tired to try again – someone who has given up on her dreams. Or someone who had tried to hold on to her conviction, but one dumb decision made her lost everything.
