“‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." (Leviticus 20:13)

In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error." (Romans1:27)

That is actually what the Word says.

By trying to interpret it otherwise to fit our emotions or desires is not going to work. We cannot gamble our eternity for what we wish to be right.

God does not lie. What he calls sin -- is sin in His sight. It is sin to commit homosexual acts (ie: male having intercourse with another male) because He says so in His word. But by being gay (or being born gay) may not be a person's choice, and I know it is not fair to call it sin -- it is not an easy thorn. But it is not something that God cannot do something about. This is one of the reasons Jesus died on the cross -- to bring us back to his original design. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”(Gen1:27)

There were some gays who have been changed and made into a new creation when they accepted Jesus, or when they continued in their faith. There are many testimonies of this. God makes them new persons. God gives them a new heart and He puts a new Spirit in them. God created them and designed them, and He is able to change them and make them Christlike and holy and walk in the light and in truth, not by their strength but by His Spirit. And it might not be a work overnight. It is a process -- to change them from glory to glory. It is not impossible because nothing is impossible with God.

Homosexual acts is not a greater sin than committing adultery, idolatry, etc. And the other way around. All of us have sinned, straight or not. I am not condemning gays because I know what a big sinner I am, and was. I consider myself the worst sinner, that's why I know how I need Jesus all them more. I struggle with other things also, and being changed everyday. I often cry out to God, "Save me from this". I am only saved by the grace of God.

But this same grace is available to all. Jesus came to save us, and not only to save us, but to transform us into His likeness by the power of the Holy Spirit -- no matter what our struggles or thorns are -- be it homosexual acts, lying, stealing, pornography, etc. Jesus died to save us from these, and His blood is enough.

I am not anti-LGBTQ. I love my LGBTQIA+ friends, enough to tell them the truth, and share the Gospel that they need. That we all need.

God has also given us conscience to determine what's right or wrong, unless it is itself depraved.

But whatever I say here, the truth is, this is between you and God. It's not about what I say or others tell you. If your conscience is clear, there's nothing I can say that can change it. But if, in case, you have doubts, if there is a "What if" left, I urge you to ask God for a revelation. Because on matters of salvation or of heaven and hell, we must humbly ask the Way, the Truth and the Life Himself (as it says in James 1:5.)
