If We’re Not Sold Out to the Gospel, We Won’t Share It with Others
Two days ago, one of the girls that I had discipled in Christ went to be with the Lord. It is deeply sad, but I rejoice that she ran the race victoriously because Jesus had kept her till the end. Before she passed on, she had also led others to Jesus.
She is very dear to me and I will miss her. But it consoles me knowing that she is in God’s hands now. Sickness and pain can no longer reach her there. She can now see Jesus face-to-face, be embraced by Him, and be with Him forever. All because Jesus died for her and she accepted Him into her life when she heard the Gospel.
The World’s Greatest Need
If we would only see past this world and see eternity for what it really is, it will fire us up to keep interceding for and preaching the Gospel to the lost especially if they are our loved ones and friends. This is because when we will all face God on judgment day, they will ask us one question: “Why didn’t you tell me about Jesus?”
The Gospel needs to be preached. We received it when we heard it for free. We ought to share it with others…
