Stop Beating Yourself Up. You Can’t Shake Your Sins Off!
You can’t win over something you are ignorant about.
Hosea 4:6 says,
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
The War of Words
Souls after souls go to hell every day because they lack knowledge — because they don’t know God. We are living in a time when people hate to hear about the righteousness, but only the love, of God. But isn’t the kingdom of God about righteousness and holiness, as well? And when we speak of love, is it not a reciprocal relationship — that we love God back?
And what is love?
These days, when people excuse their sins, it is with these narratives, “God will understand,” or “God is love.” It saddens us to see articles on Medium attacking Christianity or even God’s holiness. It has become a war of words between those who preach the truth and those who distort it. But as for me, I’d rather lose an argument than lose my soul.
